ANNOUNCEMENT
We are pleased to announce that Dato’ Norazharuddin Abu Talib has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM) effective 17 July 2017.
Prior to his appointment, Dato’ Norazharuddin Abu Talib was the Managing Director of Astra Partners Sdn Bhd. Apart from his financial industry experience with Citibank N.A, he also has over 16 years of private equity investment experience, including with South East Asia Development Corporation Berhad (SEACORP), Walden International Investment Group (WIIG), Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC), PDX.com Sdn Bhd, Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad (MAVCAP). In September 2007, he set up Trupartners Sdn Bhd, to provide venture capital and private equity management services.
Dato’ Norazharuddin graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville USA with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the same university.
